Howard Poppell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2021, at the age of 93, Howard Poppell of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Havana, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jordan Poppell and Mary Frances Posten Poppell; his wife Margie Schneider Poppell; and his brother Jewel Poppell. He is survived by: his daughter Lola Hooper (William "Robert") of Phenix City, AL; and his sisters, Willie Mae Sasser of Havana, FL and Martha Nell Pearce of Havana, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
