He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Walls and Crystal Freeman Walls; his son Jeffrey Robert Walls; and his sister Ramona Pearce. He is survived by: his wife Carol Norwood Walls; his children, Vickie Robinson, James R. Wall, Jr. and Jason Norwood Walls; his grandchildren, Madison Leigh Walls and Kendall Joiner; his great grandchild MaKenna Ortiz; and his siblings, Ann S. Dobbs, Carol Hall, Willene Pyle, Shirley Hatcher and Bill Walls.
