She was predeceased by: her parents, James Homer Parsons, Sr. and Nellie Newsome Parsons; her husband Curtis Howard Wood; and her brother Homer Parsons, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Butler (David) and Lorie Butterfield (Tim) of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Bryan Butler (Shelly), Noah Butler (Becky), Tatum Ranew (Josh), Luke Butterfield (Katie) and Cole Butterfield; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Claire, Scarlett, Merritt, Loreli and Rory. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
