With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Bateman of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Valley, Alabama, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 53. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julie Bateman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fred Barrett and Betty Lee Presley Barrett; and her sister Laney Daniel. She is survived by: her husband Allen Ray Bateman; her children, Kevin Ray Adams, Jr., Jamie Leah Adams Milligan, Wesley Aaron Adams, James Allen Bateman and Ryan Davis; and her siblings, Jerry Barrett, Freddie Barrett, Charles Barrett, Anthony Barrett, Melody Eiland, Deborah Austin, Jan Windham and Beverly Paulson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers for the memorial the family is asking for people to donate to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund or to the John B Amos Cancer Center where Julie received her treatment.
