It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Ann (Roper) Brooks of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Winchester, South East, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Louise Goucher Roper and Thomas M. Roper Sr. Kathryn; and her husband Harold Edward Brooks Jr.. She is survived by: her son Gregory Brooks (Lauren); her siblings, Jane Adams and Tom Adams (Ellen); and her grandchildren, Cameron, Jaxson, Jayden-Ethen, Noah, Cole, Ella, Sawyer, Kingsley and Maddy.
Kathryn loved Stone Mountain Park, due to COVID 19 restrictions, the family will hold a private memorial there.
