He was predeceased by: his brother Gary Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Taylor; his children, Kelli Jones (DeWayne) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kristy "Cookie" Taylor-Anglin of Lanett, AL, Catherine Winfield of Columbus, GA, Shane Ludwig of Plano, TX and Michael Masterson of Plano, TX; and his siblings, June Risley (David) of Knoxville, TN and Mitchell Taylor (Lee Ann) of Crawford, AL.
