He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Mae Tolliver and Otis Brooks. He is survived by: his sons, Ocie Harris and Darryl Brooks (Rhonda); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Brooks, Sally Brooks, Johnnie Mae Jacobs (James), James Fluellen and Robert Fluellen.
