Lois Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 82, Lois Simmons of Phenix City, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Evans Ward Sr. and Mary Bethel Teel Ward; her husband William "Peewee" Simmons; and her brothers, Evans Ward, Jr. and Arthur Lee Ward.
She is survived by: her sisters, Clara Ponder of Birmingham, AL and Eleanor Gill of Phenix City, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, caring friends, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Mrs. Simmons memory to Grace Freewill Baptist Church 10290 Lee Road 240 Phenix City, AL 36870 or to PAWS 4900 Milgen Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
