He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall M. Burke, Sr. and Nannie Jowers Burke; his former wife Eldora Smith Burke; and his stepdaughter Barbara Ann Bankston. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Burke of Phenix City, AL; his stepchildren, David Mathis (Charmer), Gary Scroggs, Lori Fuller and Deedra Gilbert (Harrell); and his grandchildren, Mark Bankston (Robin), Scotty Bankston and Tammy Jenkins (Ronnie). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; several extended family and friends.
