It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Adams (Phenix City, Alabama), born in Banks, Alabama, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Dan Dorrill and Hilda Mathews Dorrill; her husband Billie Adams; her stepfather Tom Dennis; her daughter Nancy Elaine Whitley Adams; and her granddaughter Brittany Nicole Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Diane Simpson of Columbus, Bobbie Jean Adams Miller (Mark) of Phenix City, Danny Lamar Adams (Sloan) of Phenix City and William Kenneth Adams (April) of Phenix City; and her siblings, Rita Parrish of Phenix City, Eva Mitchell of Phenix City, Peggy McClendon of Phenix City and Danny Dorrill of Phenix City. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one expecting great-grandson; many other relatives and friends.
