She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lindsey and Nellie Erin Moss Lindsey; her husbands, James F. Godfrey and Robert Lee Chambers; her son James Ray Godfrey; and her sister Rosie Mae Brumbeloe.
She is survived by: her son Charles L. Godfrey; her stepson Terry Chambers (Debra); her granddaughter Donna Godfrey Phillips (Billy); and her close friends, Senoi Godfrey and Ashleigh Aguilar. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
