With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Corbett of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Troy, Alabama, who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Corbett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Monroe Chance and Myrtle Lee Wombles Chance; her former husbands, Thurston Riddle and Earl Buice; her husband James Corbett; and her daughter Anita Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Amerson (Johnny) of Phenix City; her grandchildren, Lisa Amerson of Phenix City, Jimmy Stanford of Smiths Station, Marlea Jeffries (Chris) of Smiths Station, Dee Jordan (Sean) of Smiths Station and Chance Stanford (Amy) of Valley, Alabama; and her close friend Dennis Austin of Phenix City. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
