It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Guthrie Veltri of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Guthrie and Evelyn Holton Guthrie; her husband Bernard Veltri; and her brothers, Gerald, Billy and Thomas Guthrie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Patti (James), NJ and Deborah Sinacori (Thomas); her grandchildren, Michael, Bernard, Jonathan, Farah, Larissa, Christina and Nicholas; and her siblings, Louise Frazier, Frances Jones, Charles Guthrie and Robert Guthrie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
