He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Massey and Kathryn Strickland Massey; and his brother Joseph "Jack" Massey (Linda). He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry (Margie), James (Linda) and Charles; his sister-in-law Glenda S. Massey; his children, Jennifer Massey Blyler and Steven Massey; his granddaughters, Lori Lynn Blyler Kicklighter (Nichols) and Brenda Blyler; the mother of his children Linda Dasinger Massey; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Payton and Jordyn. He is also survived by extended family includes many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
