He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Alston (Clifford) of Smiths Station, AL, Phyllis Ezekiel (Daniel) of Tampa, FL and Cecelia Jones (Leo) of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, David Nelams of Phenix City, AL, Virginia Ward of Brooklyn, NY, Claudia Lewis of Phenix City, AL, Rosemary Nelams of Columbus, GA, Annie Whittelsey of Columbus, GA and Debra Nelams of Columbus, GA; his sisters-in-law, Vennie Mae Nelams of Detroit, MI and Eva Nelams of Detroit, MI; his grandchildren, Robert Alston (Cynethia) of Alabaster, AL, Lance Alston (Lorena) of Paradise, TX, Leo Jones of Huntsville, AL, Darion Ezekiel of Orlando, FL and Jamia Jones of Troy, AL; his great grandchildren, Ameer, Jaydyn, Tyler, Kynzie and Carter James; and also Gloria Brooks of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
