He is survived by: his sister Joyce Sykes (Bob Sykes); his son James Rankin Hooks (Morgan Hooks) of Winter Garden, FL.; his grandchildren, Courtney Hooks, Hayden Blake Hooks, Parker Hooks, Karma Hooks, Colby Hooks and Clayton Hooks; and his stepgrandchildren, Landon Slaten, Alleigh Reynolds and Elijah Reynolds.
