It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Green of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Pittsview, Alabama, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Green and Lula Sanks Green; and his siblings, Abe, Sam, Jimmy, Arthur, Sarah, Lillie and Nancy.
He is survived by : his daughter Janice Green of Columbus; and his cousins, Daisy Bales and Sally Conley (George). He is also survived by one grandson, six great grandchildren, eight nephews, eleven nieces.
