He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Riley Phillips, Sr. and Lillian Catherine Lamb Phillips; his wife Pat Phillips; his daughter Cheryl Melissa Phillips; his brother Thomas Phillips; and his cousin Pat Thornton, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Quinney (David) of Phenix City, AL, Leslee Rutledge (Brian) of Phenix City, AL and Mark Phillips of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Blake Quinney, Alex Quinney (Chelsi), Riley Rutledge (Julia) and Reagan Rutledge; his great grandchildren, Raylee Grace Quinney, Emmi Claire Quinney, Gray Alexander Quinney and Kolton Rutledge; his close friend Ann Anthony; and his cousins, Barbara Ann McGlaun and Betty Jean Fuller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
