In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rose Hollis leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Rose Hollis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Will Hollis and Ella V. Bailey Hollis; her husband Joseph Ronnie Hunt; her daughter Valerie Braswell; and her siblings, Ann Humphries and Joel Hollis.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Leonard (Danny) and Troy Thomley (Cecelia); her stepdaughter Tracy Hunt Peacock (Mike); her sister Wanda Griffin (Wayne); and her sister-in-law Kathy Tyson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
