With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Ford (Phenix City, Alabama), born in Childersburg, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Franklin Benefield and Lilly Mae Gentry Benefield; her son Phillip Ford; and her grandsons, Casey Ford and Justin Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Gann (Sammy) of Phenix City, AL, Stephen "Steve" Ford and Frank Ford (Margaret) of Phenix City, AL; and her siblings, Naomi Smith (Carroll) of Rockford, AL and Charles Benefield (Pat) of Sylacauga, AL. She is also survived by several grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
