He is survived by: his wife Sue Elliott Mitchell of Phenix City; his children, Sherry Mitchell of Columbus, Pam Mitchell of Columbus, Stacy Femrite of Phenix City and Sam Mitchell (Martha) of Phenix City; his sisters, Grace Guthrie (Robert) of Fortson and Vera Mitchell Williams of Columbus; his grandchildren, Michael Moreno, Amanda Wyatt, Haley Paige (Seadrick), Sarah Davis (Robinson), Robert Femrite, April Holt, Jonathan Mitchell and Kayla Ervin; and his great grandchildren, Nikalos Conner Wyatt, Amyah Watts of Michael, Davison, Baylee Cobb, Kayson Paige, Shawn, Madison Holt, Tyson Holt and Sammie Jo Davis. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
