With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Lane of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Mayo Bett and Josh Bett; her daughter Kristi Lane; and her sisters, Brenda Bett and Phyllis Bett.

She is survived by: her siblings, Claudia Smith of Anniston, AL, Joseph Bett (Lillie) of Las Vegas, NV and William Albert of Chicago, IL; her husband William T. Lane; her sons, Terrence Lane (Lisha Lane), Stephen Lane (JoAnn Lane) and Scottie Lane; and her grandchildren, Shanalethia, Laterra, Sarah, Chantal, Shirlann, Lakariann, Yolanda, Desiree, Kent, Scottrick, Xantrell, Jayden and Jayvon. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
