It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Kennedy of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kirby E. Kennedy, Sr.; her grandsons, Christopher Webster and Kirby E. Kennedy, III; and her siblings, Bobbie Jean Hayes, Alfred Earl Hayes and William A. Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Walden of Phenix City, AL, Sandra Kittrell (Kenneth) of Phenix City, AL, Gretchen Mann (Bubba) of Salem, AL, Brenda Clement of Phenix City, AL and Kirby E. Kennedy, Jr. of Phenix City, AL; and her siblings, Jerlane Forrest (Donald) of Phenix City, AL and James M. Hayes (Regina) of Phenix City, AL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; several other extended family, church family and friends.
