We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Shirley Mae Sanders of Phenix City, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon C. Chestnut and Ersel Mae Caldwell Chestnut; her husband Maurice Douglas Sanders; and her sister Joyce Cotton. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheril Sanders Stamp (Paul) of Phenix City, AL and Lori Sanders Jackson (Michael) of Phenix City, AL; her grandchildren, Jason Stamp (Amy), Brandi Stamp Laney (Nathan), Reed Jackson (Amanda), Karli Jackson Beason (Joel) and Troy Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Banks, Ellison, Brody, Sam, Jolie Kate, Jackson, Brooklyn, Avery, Austin and Brynlee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to River of Life Church in Phenix City.
