He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Abbott and Elizabeth Purvis Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Patty Fredrick Abbott of Phenix City, AL; his children, Adicia Abbott Coulter (Jay) of Phenix City, AL, Rendi Abbott Hall (Jimmy) of Phenix City, AL and Gary Abbott (Alice) of Newnan, GA; his brother Alton Abbott (Doris) of Smiths Station, AL; his grandchildren, Caroline Coulter Pippins (Dalton), Craig Coulter, James Hall, Garrett Abbott and Claire Abbott; and his close friends, Wayne, Kay Green, Rob, Sherri, Cole and Carson Wilson.
