He was predeceased by: his father Charles Hudson (Kyra Kirk Hudson); and his brother Patrick Hudson. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Moody Lomond; his sons, Timothy Hunter Hudson and Nicholas Kirk Hudson; his stepmother Dottie Hudson of Phenix City, AL; and his siblings, Chris Hudson (Ginger), Sharee Phelps (David), Alicia Bradford, Billy Ellis, Tony Ellis, Debbie Ellis, Joey Ellis and Sharon Ellis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
