It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie James Gilmore of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beat Gilmore and Mattie Gilmore; and his wife Mabel Gilmore. He is survived by: his children, James Gilmore, Douglas Hall (Cynthia), Valerie Fuller and Kimberly Gore (Johnathan); and his brother Devaughn Gilmore (Dorothy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
