With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ruth Blair Edwards (Piedmont, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Roy Edwards; and her parents, Charlie Blair and Ruth Blair. She is survived by : her daughters, Patty Lewis (Mike) of Harbor Island, Carolyn Edwards of Winder and Anne Miller (Kevin) of Trussville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Ashley Clody (Andrew), Jordan Miller (Evelyn), Drew Swick (Adrianna), Brett Miller (Mary Claire) and Sam Miller (Julia); her great grandchildren, Emily Clody, Benett, Peyton Swick, Mary Evelyn, Mia and Miles Miller; her sister Joyce Ann Stier; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Edwards. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Piedmont First United Methodist Church (300 N Main St, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
