He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Haynes and Thelma Haynes; his brother Leroy Haynes; and his son Joseph Haynes of Ashville. He is survived by: his wife Faye Haynes of Piedmont; and his children, Brenda Grizzell (Dennis) of Ragland, Michelle Mize (Larry) of Alexandria, Sharon Ruthven (Russell) of Piedmont, Michael Haynes (Lea) of Piedmont, Daniel Haynes of Piedmont and David Haynes of Piedmont. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild.
