We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, at the age of 79, Janice Elaine Spivey of Piedmont, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Janice Elaine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hollis Spivey; her children, Rebecca Lynne Spivey and Robert "Rob" Hollis Spivey II; her parents, Roy Wolfe and Willie Mae Wolfe; and her sister Marla Wolfe Blaylock.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Abigail Renee Spivey of Piedmont; and her siblings, Linda Sue Warren (Norris) of Piedmont, Roland Wolfe (Elaine) of Mississippi and Robert Wolfe (Anita) of Leeds. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the college fund set up for her granddaughter, Abby, at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Piedmont, AL or to the Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box 333, Piedmont, AL 36272.
