It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Maddox Dempsey of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Weldon "Red" Dempsey; her son-in-law Steve Robertson; and her parents, Porter Maddox and Birdy Maddox. She is survived by: her daughter Starla Robertson; her granddaughter Erin Adderhold (Brad); and her great grandchild Ava Grayce Adderhold of Piedmont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
