He is survived by: his wife Annie Lois Mims of Pine Apple, AL; his children, Lucille Thompson of Brooklyn, NY, Dorothy Tait of Pensacola, FL, Patrick Blankenship (Tenishea) of Mobile, AL, John Mims and Nicholas Mims (Tracie) of Pine Apple, AL; his brother Elbert Mims of Oak Hill, AL; his brothers-in-law, Aundre Dale, Nelson Blankenship (Charlene) and Simon Blankenship (Michelle); and his godchildren, Queeine Marshall, Tiffany Dale, Dejaun Smith, Keith Mahan, Stephanie Fields, Deidre Dale and John Mims. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
