We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2024, at the age of 76, Betty Carol Goss of Pinson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Earl Robert Goss; her parents, Herschel Brown and Saloma Brown (Chip); and her siblings, Sue Chamblee, Charolette Jones, Glenda Faye Brown, Patricia Brown, Donald and James Brown.

She is survived by: her husband Earl Ransom Goss; her sons, Edward Ray Goss and Tim Lovell (Angela Lewis); and her granddaughter Marisa Lyndsey Goss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

“For the Goss family, I and my husband Jim were crushed to learn of Betty's death. We were neighbors to her and Earl for several years. Betty was my "internet momma" and I loved every post she sent me. Our prayers are for the entire family; we know the ache and emptiness that comes with the death of a loved one. Betty was lovely, caring, and genuinely interested in everyone else's well-being instead of her own. Jim and I will miss her deeply.”
