He was predeceased by : his parents, James Elvis and Lulu Elizabeth Hodge; his wife Betty Joyce Hodge; his former life partner Annie Marie Hodge; and his daughter Lou Martin.
He is survived by : his children, Phillip Hodge (Evelyn), Jeff Hodge (Leigh Anne), Susan Hackett (Tim), Matt Hodge (Mela) and Scott Hodge (Gail); and his son-in-law Elwin Martin, Jr.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
