She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelda Murfee and Howard Murfee (James William Sullivan). She is survived by: her children, Mark Murfee Lanier, Katherine Tae Nichols (Mark) and Laura Ann Lanier; her grandchildren, Ann Elizabeth "Bethany" Shantz (Chris), Warren Lanier Nichols (Whitney), Owen Miscally Nichols (Katie), Seth Lucas Lanier, Jessica Lauren Colley (Jonathon) and Amanda Storey (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Waverly Nichols, Sawyer Nichols, Weston Shantz, Taylor Shantz, Clint Nichols, Stetson, Ashton, Elliot, Grayson Storey, Jacob, Brayden and Ethan; and her siblings, Nelda "Polly" Zieglar and James Tankersley Murfee. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: in honor of her granddaughter, Bethany Shantz.
