He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Esther Allen and Ezra Allen; his wife Angela Allen; his granddaughter Leah Ackerman (Josh); his children, Marvin Shay Allen (Karen) and Leah Allen Ackerman (Angela Allen); his grandchildren, Blaine Cooper, Cameron Allen, Layton Cooper, Hannah Ackerman and JT Ackerman; his sisters, Bernice'Esther'Viator (Errol) of New Iberia, LA, Joan King (Richard) of Saraland, AL and Barbara Brady; and his nephew Richard "Dickie" King, Jr.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
