She was predeceased by : her parents, Gwilym James and Kathleen James; her husband James E. Waddell; and her sisters, Elizabeth James and Norrie Clarke.

She is survived by : her daughters, Elizabeth Waddell and Nanette Waddell Ammons; her grandchildren, Ashley A. Ammons and Brent J. Ammons; and her great grandchild Savanna W. Faulk.
