Sue Ann Scalf Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2018, at the age of 82, Sue Ann Scalf (Prattville, Alabama), born in Barbourville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leland J. Wolfe and Ada Wolfe Benjamin; and also, Sam Scalf and Leslie Leland Scalf. She is survived by : her daughter Kathy Hartzog (Wendell); her grandchildren, Leslie Hartzog and Christopher Brink (Courtney); her great grandchild Annie Brink; her significant other Tony Ramone; her son-in-law Leslie Hartzog; her grandson Annie Brink; her great grandchild Skye Shade; and also, Skye Shade and Jonah Shade.

In lieu of flowers Sue's family requests that donations be made to Troy University Foundation, 301 Adams Administration Building, Troy, Alabama 36082, or to Union College, c/o College of Advancement, 310 College Street, Box D4, Barbourville, Kentucky 40906, for the benefit of students planning a degree in teaching or writing.
