He is survived by: his wife Linda McMinn of Rainsville, AL; his children, James Ray McMinn (Vicky) of Madison, AL and Sherry Bevel (Micky) of Rainsville, AL; his sisters, Sonja Wilborn of Rainsville, AL, Faye Dickerson of Fyffe, AL and Emma Jane Chaney of Valley Head, AL; his grandchildren, Easton Bevel (Kelsi) of Roanoke, VA, Colton Bevel (Cortney) of Chattanooga, TN and Grayson Waller of Madison, AL; and his great grandchild Ira Bevel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
