She was predeceased by: her former husband Major James H. Holbrook Jr.; her parents, James Walter Harris and Mildred Swannee Scott Austin; her son James "Chip" Holbrook; and her brother Jim Harris.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Phillips; her grandchildren, Michael Cameron, Amanda Cameron, David Clark (Summer), Robin Garner (Timmy) and Beth Lawson (Robin); her great grandchildren, Riley, Brody, Kattie, Noah, Jacob, Karey, Devan, Gage, Michael, Tyra, Lexi, Colton, Christian, Lindsey and Hunter; her siblings, Joyce Pannell (Lowell), Mary Epperson (Dave), Joan Thompson and Barry Austin (Charlotte); and her husband Bob Mockenhaupt.
