He was predeceased by: his parent Jahue Shaddrix; his daughter Debbie Trimble; his grandson Jay Trimble; and his brother Kenneth McAlpin. He is survived by: his parent Gladys Shaddrix; his wife Faye McAlpin; his daughter Donna Brown (Paul); his grandchildren, Brandi Trimble and Kevin Trimble (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Anna-Kaitlyn Shea, Nick Shea and Jayden Shea; his siblings, Sonny McAlpin, Manuel McAlpin (Betty Sue), Tony McAlpin and Doris Norred (James); and his aunt Sybil Baker.
