He was predeceased by: his parents, Whit Lamar and Vera Nunn Stewart; his wife Ann Moon Stewart; and his sisters, Sue Denney, Joanna Bennett, Helen Nami, Mary Jane Conyers, Larue Dunaway and Nell Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Watson (Ray) of Kingman, AZ, Scott Lamar Stewart (Theresa) of Buford, GA and John Parker Stewart (Jennie) of Huntsville, AL; and his brother Sam P. Stewart of Arlington, VA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
