She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Henson and Bobbie J. Brice Henson; her husband Bruce E. Whatley; her daughter Tami Bailey; and her brother Eugene Hinson.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer N. Barajas of Newnan, GA and Michael Bailey of Roanoke; her sister Jackie Smith of Sharpsburg, GA; and her sister-in-law Nancy Hinson of Roanoke. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
