She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Davis and Ruby Claython Turner Davis; her brother Ted Davis; and her nephew Tommy White. She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Burks of Roanoke; her children, Lori Smith (James Pike) of Roanoke and Mike Burks (Becky) of Five Points; and her siblings, Carol Gilham (Jimmy) of Roanoke, Sherry Towler (Keith) of Roanoke, Marcie McCarley (Tracy) of Roanoke and Herbie Burgess (Linda) of Roanoke. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the stroke or Alzheimer's association of one's choosing.
