With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Bowen (Roanoke, Alabama), who passed away on February 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Jackson and Lue Butler Bowen; her siblings, Brasley Huddleston, Daisy Bailey, Juel Bowen, Joel Bowen and Junior Bowen; her nephew Bobby Joe Huddleston; and her great-niece Carol Worrell Turner.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Rachel Worrell of LaGrange, GA, Trudy Fincher of Woodland, Sharon Yarbrough of Lanett, Jimmy Huddleston of Bethany, LA, Ida Ann Dunn of Manchester, GA, Ernie Bowen of Fayetteville, GA, Joel Bowen of Woodbury, GA, Donald Bowen of Dalton, GA, Linda Brady Hernandez of Milwaukee, WI, Roger Bowen of LaGrange, GA and Susan Davis of Pontiac, IL. She is also survived by 19 great-nieces and nephews; 30 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made in her memory to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
