It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hoyt McWhorter Dobbs Jr. (Roanoke, Alabama), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt McWhorter Dobbs, Sr. and Ethel Dooley Dobbs; and his sister Edith Dobbs. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Dobbs of Roanoke; and his daughter Kim Bailey (Craig) of Thomasville, GA..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Southern Union State Community College Foundation, 750 Roberts Street, Wadley, AL 36276.
