He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Boyd and Winnie Mae Noles Boyd; his wife Merle A. Boyd; and his sister Hazel Noles. He is survived by: his son Danny James Boyd of Roanoke; and also Delilah Gabriel of Roanoke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
