He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bonner Hendon of Roanoke; his children, John Frank Hendon (Kelli) and Hope Hendon Barngrover (Ron) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Riley Barngrover, Peyton Barngrover and Kate Hendon; and his mother Carolyn Hendon.
