He is survived by: his wife Andra Hooks Higgins; his son John; his stepchildren, Reggie Hooks (LaKeisha) of Roanoke, Damian Hooks of Roanoke, Andrew Hooks (Latoya) of Roanoke, Tiffany Beaty (Rodney) of Valley, Tedra Hooks (Anton) of Lanett and Nedra Hooks of Roanoke; and his sister Christine Higgins of Roanoke.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Paul Baptist Church (1144 Henry St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
