She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Stacy Barber of LaGrange, GA, Cassie Earl of Roanoke, Jason Benefield (Cindy) of Denver, CO and Chad Benefield (Leslie) of Roxboro, NC; her brother Ken Brakebill (Rena) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Micah, Cayden, Carter, Allie, Jackson, Hylee, Caleb and Isaac; and her parents, Frank Brakebill and Phyllis Miller Brakebill.

Memorials may be floral, or the family suggests contributions in her memory to Handley High School Band.
